I feel so lucky to have a job that I really enjoy. Not only do I have one job that I really enjoy, I have TWO jobs that absolutely rock. My bosses and coworkers are so nice and considerate. Also, they work with my schedule really well so far.
Well, I was at work and feeling like a rabid honey badger was trying to claw its way out of my uterus (I don't get why this is fair) but I was just toughing it out until I could take some medicine on my way to class after work. However, I just really couldn't handle it after about 30 minutes. So my boss gave me some ibuprofen, bless her, and I took it. Then I was on the phone with a tech guy and this other guy was waiting for me to help him and I realized that I was going to pass out. I tried to stay conscious, I really fought hard. But pretty soon I couldn't see anything but black and I couldn't make my fingers type what the tech guy was telling me to type and then I couldn't hear him.. Then I woke up. And I was really shaky and had cold sweat all over me and I had absolutely no color to my face (I know because I went into the bathroom to ask my roommate to come pick me up and I saw my pallid reflection in the mirror) and I was in EVEN MORE PAIN.
I left work early after apologizing to my coworkers. And I took a shower and napped for two hours. And took more ibuprofen. And maybe shed some tears.
I also emailed my boss and explained to her why I left early (she was out in a meeting when I left) and apologized. She was very understanding.
My point to this story is that if you can help it, avoid being a girl. Because crap like this happens once a month. And that just really isn't fair.
On the bright side of things though, Victoria and Bethany brought me slurpee (aka Honey Badger Repellent). And Chloe made dinner. And Amy picked me up. And Kirstin told me that I was also hurting in my spleen (I think my entire abdominal area is just revolting against me right now). And I just feel so lucky to have such great friends. They really are phenomenal.
Also in great news, my team won in Ultimate Frisbee. I would like to say I had something to do with it, but I could have not been there and they still would have won. I'm still proud though.
Zac Baker was set apart last night. :( I'm really going to miss him. But I love him dearly and I will write him and send him packages because he is in the US so it is cheap.
Here he is. Right before we hugged for the last time for 2 years :(
Other great news, I got some free meals this weekend. YAY! Amy and Sean and I went up to Gilbert/Mesa and did baptisms for the dead (great experience as per usual) and hung out with Roland and our respective families. It was absolutely lovely. Even if I had to wake up at 6:00 in the AM just to sit at a car shop for 3 hours just to go back home just to drive my car (thinking about naming him Sir Cadagon) to Gilbert. It was a good trip.
I'm all the way to Nefi 3 en mi El Libro de Mormon. I did read all of the testimonies and everything first. And I've been reading it out loud which is slow going.. I'm happy though. It is nice. I also read the English version por la manana. I think that was Italian not Spanish but whatever.
Brittany is engaged! That's exciting for her. I have to figure out a way to get to Houston on December 17th for her wedding. That's going to be hard. But totally worth it. She is one of the best friends I could ever ask for.
Anyway, enough about my life. I'll post more later.
