Back to School...Again

The rest of Spring Break was fantastic! We went home Sunday, I was in Avondale for like 10 minutes and then Jenkin and his dad came and picked me up and took me to Yuma where we ate dinner and then Jenkin and I drove back to Tucson. So much driving. I don't want to go on another road trip for years. There was construction on the road back to Tucson so it took us like 6 hours. It was ridiculous. At one point we went 4 miles in an hour. Ahhh. But we got home safely.
Monday I was sick or something so I stayed home all day. Tuesday I got a haircut. So did Jenkin. Haha. It was precious. I told the lady that I was trying to grow my hair out... But then she cut it suuuuper short. But its whatevs. It'll grow back out.
The rest of the week was just normal, lots of homework, some hanging out and such. Friday I did laundry at my aunt and uncle's and Jenkin tagged along. My aunt and uncle also fed us dinner and it was quite tasty. Then I made a cake for Bethany and a cupcake for Victoria to celebrate their birthdays.
Saturday I had a study session for my Art History test, it was fun. I love that group of kids (Zac, Joseph, Ali). All of them will be on missions next year. Its going to be a strange transition. Then we had a little get together where we watched the UA basketball game (because UA is in the Elite Eight wooooohoooo) but they lost against UConn. It was a stressful and depressing five minutes. Then we (Bethany, Sean, Johnny, Jenkin, Sterling, Victoria, Justin, Amy, Lyndsay, Brittany, and I. Maybe some other people....) ate cake and played games and such.

Bethany's cake and Victoria's cupcake (her cupcake was filled, and it was pretty challenging to do because I don't have any tips or icing bags or anything. So I used a ziploc bag and a pen cap. I think I'm going to purchase a basic cake decorating kit for myself for Easter or something).

It was a good weekend. On Sunday Jenk had a concert so I drove him to it and watched- it was with a choir and they were super good. I was really impressed. Jenkin did a good job too.

This week has just been normal so far. For FHE we had a belated Pi-day celebration. It was fun. I love my ward. And Jarom (my FHE partner). He works so hard and does a fantastic job in his calling. He's great. After FHE I went to Ultimate Frisbee but I was terrible. Then I went to campus and watched some Art History films with Jenkin. I hate those films.

This morning I had a waffle (waffle Tuesdays at the institute= 25 cent waffles. YAY!) and then I played around the world ping pong with Kathleen, Sterling, and Lars. It was great. Then Anthony, Brittany, and I went and looked at an apartment. It was sketchy.

I'm pretty much a content person. I love how this semester has been going.

I am going to live with Amy and Kirstin next year. That will be great. I'm looking for someone to share my room with. I'm going to have Luna. That's exciting. She got a haircut too. Its so cute. I love her. I miss her.

Epic Spring Break

The rest of the weekend just flew by, it was fun. Then last week was terrible. I had absolutely no motivation. I went to Ultimate Frisbee on Monday night, it was awesome! I actually did a pretty decent job at it too. Then on Tuesday I went to Applebee's with Justin, Brittany, and Jenkin. It was really fun. Wednesday during my Institute class I decided to go to Avondale to visit my family and my aunt Darla who was visiting from Minnesota. So I took off after class. It was super fun. I enjoyed getting to see Luna and my family. I had to come back on Thursday night to go to a play with Zac, that was also enjoyable. We went to Pei Wei before the play- soooo delicious. After the play we went to BTO (a frozen yogurt place) with Brennan, Michelle, Jenkin, Sterling, Amy, and Justin.

It was fun. Friday Amy, Jenk, and I took off. We went to Yuma and stayed the night with Jenk's family. Yuma has a castle. It is so cool. Then on Saturday we (Jenk, Kira, Amy, and I) got up early and drove to Cali. We dropped our stuff off at Amy's grandparent's house and they made us blueberry pancakes (mmm) and then we went and picked up Bryce Addison and went to Six Flags. It was sooo fun! :) :) :) So lovely. We had tons of fun. We got stopped by border patrol like 3 times but they never asked me what my country of origin was. And we stopped in this little town in California that was pretty much Mexico. It was crazy. We were lucky that Kira understands Spanish.

Then on Monday we went shopping (because California weather warranted long pants and I had only brought shorts) and then Amy dropped me off with my family at the hotel in Cypress!!! On Tuesday we went to DISNEYLAND!!!!!!!! :) It is so lovely. I love my family.

On Wednesday we got in line for It's a Small World and my mom started talking about this one time where this family we knew (last name: Webb) was standing in front of us when all of a sudden I felt a punch on my arm and AMY WEBB was right in front of us with her family. We rode in the same boat, totally coincidentally. It is a small world after all. Heh-heh.

Mel unfortunately got chicken pox or something so she has been stuck in the hotel room for the past two days :( I feel so bad for her. But we're getting year passes so we'll come back which is good.

Me like hockey!

Ahhhh, life is good.

I've been rocking school lately (except Nutrition.. ugh..). This past week I had a performance in acting (but it kept getting pushed back so I didn't end up doing it..), a written midterm in acting, an oral exam in Italian, a written midterm in Italian, and a Nutrition quiz. Uuuggh. Haha. I was so stressed. But its done! And I feel  like I did a good job!
I got a B on my last Nutrition test. And I GOT AN A in ART HISTORY!!!! :) :) :) I was so happy about it.

I also ordered a longboard. I succumbed to the temptation. But I definitely don't regret it. Its wonderful.

Also, I went to my first hockey game! It was soooo much fun! I loved it. A lot. UA lost in overtime to ASU. :( boo. But I had a lot of fun. TESTOSTERONE!!!!! Haha.

I hung out a lot with my friends this week. I feel like I was compensating my stress level with slacking. Not a good idea, but it happened.

I went on a date with Jenk and Ben and Victoria (and Amy and Justin joined later). We went longboarding and geocaching and we got ice cream! It was a lot of fun! Then we went to Ben's house and watched Sherlock Holmes and some stupid YouTube videos :)

For FHE Jarom and I set up speed dating. I told a cheesy analogy about ice cream flavors and dating and then we speed dated and then had ice cream sundaes. I think most people didn't want to do it, but I think it was an overall success. :)

Also this week was free FRYday at the Chick-Fil-A on campus. So we got free french fries! This was to celebrate the new ketchup packets. Which, by the way, are cool but a little silly.

I decided since it was me hanging out with five guys I was pretty baller, but then Zac pointed out that I could just be lesbian... But I'm pretty attracted to guys so I don't think that's the case :)

It was fun.

After that I went to a doctor's appointment and got antibiotics for a sinus infection. It took like thirty minutes for the doctor to come into the room. Then I told him my symptoms and he reaffirmed my thought that it was a sinus infection. And then I got drugs! Woo!

I'm going to Six Flags Magic Mountain next weekend with Jenk, his sister Kira, Amy, and we're going to pick up Bryce Addison and I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHH! It's going to be so much fun! We're going to Yuma on  Friday and then driving Saturday morning to Cali. And I can't wait. Its gonna be so great. Then we'll go to Six Flags on Saturday and Sunday and then the beach on Monday. Then Jenk and Kira will go home and my family will come to California and we're going to DISNEYLAND!!!! :) :) :) :) seriously, this is going to be the best spring break of my life! :) I can't wait. :D

My family came and visited me last weekend before the hockey game!!! I love them so much. Awh, they're tender. My mom took some pictures but she hasn't shared them yet. So here is one I took :) Hahaha, kind of silly that is it me and my dog not even my family. But I really miss her a lot.

Cheers! Tonight I am going on a hike/picnic with Jenk and my mentor and her friend. I'm really excited about it.
